Kai Pedersen PT
Kai has worked closely with Orthopedic surgeons, Neurosurgeons, and other professionals in the area for more than 11 years.  His educational background includes an Associates in Zoology, Bachelors in Psychology, Masters in Gerontology, and a Masters in Physical Therapy.  His graduate research was in the area of ergonomics.  He is active with continuing education in Orthopedics and Manual Therapy.  Kai is a member of the American Association of Physical Therapy (Orthopedic and Private Practice Sections), the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Therapy, and the Pennsylvania Physical Therapy Association.  

Kai believes in educating every patient about their diagnosis; from anatomy to treatment protocols.  There is a constant flow of new research in Physical Therapy.

Patient participation is important to Kai in order to achieve optimal results in as short as time period as possible.  He is familiar with surgical procedures and treatment protocols for each procedure.  Patients are given the tools needed to work on their program at home; he can even send home exercises through the internet.

 When not in the clinic, Kai enjoys working with his wife Jean on their small farm nearby and getting away on fishing trips.  He appreciates his improved lifestyle gained from a hip replacement.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Kathleen Marino, PT
Kathleen received her undergraduate degree in Exercise and Sport Science from Penn State University and her Master’s of Physical Therapy from Hahnemann University. She had N.A.T. A. certification and a  Teaching certification in Health and Physical Education. She worked in the public school system as a teacher and athletic trainer for three years. Her Physical Therapy clinical experience includes acute care, home health care, multiple areas of care in a rehabilitation hospital, and outpatient settings. Her primary interests are in outpatient orthopedics/sports medicine and vestibular rehabilitation.

 

 

Debra Robertson, PT
Deb Graduated from the University of Central Arkansas in 1992 with a Masters of Science in Physical Therapy.  Her first job was working at a large trauma hospital in Raleigh, North Carolina. After several years in Raleigh, She worked as a traveling Physical Therapist all over the United States. Deb moved to Pennsylvania in 1998 and worked at The Reading Hospital and Medical Center as a Rehab Therapist. She has also worked at St. Joseph’s Medical Center as a wound care Physical Therapist.  She specializes in pelvic floor rehabilitation as well as acute care, wound care, and lymphedema. On her time off she loves to go hiking with her dogs. She also enjoys camping and decorating her home and yard.

 

Selina Wentzel
Selina is our Office Manager.  She is the person responsible for greeting people and managing the front office including billing.  She has 20 years of secretarial work and also knows how to make people feel welcome.  She and her husband love to boat and fish, they can often be found on Blue Marsh Lake on their pontoon boat with family and friends throughout the summer months.  She is an active gardener, cook, and family support person.
